I got this idea from another sample graphic designer resume. Ryan Gilden (www.ryangilden.com) used a light and transparent watermark in the background of his resume. I liked the idea - so I created one of my own. Pretty simple to do, though the refining took a little bit of time. The tools I used were the maple leaf brush to give the rough feel as well as the regular brush for the outline. When I added it- the watermark puts it in the center and makes it smaller, so I kept it as a background image - made it a little transparent.
